As a member can I share my own content?
The SCALE Community is an open platform for valuable contributions, distinct from social media like LinkedIn or Facebook.
While all Members can comment on published content, only approved Contributors can share new content. If you’re interested in sharing your expertise, we invite you to become a Contributor.

What are the differences between a Member and a Contributor?
As a Member of the SCALE Community, you can read and comment on all content, while Contributors have the additional ability to share articles, videos, webinars, and podcasts.
We encourage anyone with valuable content and experiences to share with our Community to become a Contributor.
Who can become a Contributor?
Any community member who is a property manager or expert in the short-term rental (STR) industry can contribute to the Community.
STR consultants and coaches can also become Contributors, as long as the primary interest is not to share commercial content to promote a business.
Who cannot become a Contributor?
Companies, company representatives, or groups with clear commercial objectives to promote their products or services cannot become Contributors.
Those who wish to share content with a promotional focus can register as a Partner, a different type of membership with specific content sharing guidelines.
Are the content shared on the Community vetted?
To guarantee the quality of content shared on the Community, the SCALE team vets each piece before it goes live.
What are the advantages of becoming a Contributor?

What is the process to become a Contributor?
Becoming a Contributor is super easy:
REGISTRATION
Visit the Contributor registration page and fill out the application form. This helps us understand your expertise and how you’d like to contribute.
Already a member? Log in and go to the following step.
VERIFICATION PROCESS
In some cases, the SCALE team may contact you to schedule a quick call to discuss your content ideas and how you can further support the success of the Community.
The approval process may take up to 7 working days, depending on the period of the year.
PROFILE ACTIVATION
Once approved, you’ll receive a link to activate your Contributor profile. Here, you must complete your profile. A necessary step to start sharing content and engaging with the community.
Please note: if you are already a Community Member, you will be notified when your profile is updated to Contributor status.
What kind of content can I share on the Community?
The SCALE Community encourages property managers and short-term rental professionals to share their knowledge and experiences with our network. Whether you’re a skilled writer or an engaging speaker, we welcome a variety of content formats that play to your strengths.
The SCALE Community has been designed and structured to provide quick access to a variety of content formats such as articles, videos, podcasts and webinars.

Is there a reward to become a Contributor?
We believe that hard work should be rewarded!
While quality is paramount, quantity is also very much appreciated.
Contribute at least 10 pieces of content to the Scale Community and earn a FREE seasonal pass to all our conferences.

What are the differences between a Contributor and a Partner?
We offer two distinct memberships tailored to different needs.
Contributors are typically hosts, property managers, or holiday rental experts (including consultants) who wish to share valuable content without explicit commercial promotion.
Partners, on the other hand, are exclusively companies, such as product and service providers, seeking to connect with the global holiday rental community through educational content.
Who can become a Partner?
The Partner membership is specifically reserved for companies, such as product and service providers, and is tailored to fulfill brand promotional objectives.
Individuals interested in contributing should sign up for a Contributor membership.
How much it costs to sign up?
This is currently a free membership, though this may change with the future release of additional products and services.
What kind of content can Partners share on the Community?
While Partners can share the same content formats as Contributors, their submissions are subject to stricter vetting to maintain the Community’s high standards.
